Jonathan Hobby (UK), FRCS MD, chair of the Education Committee is a Consultant Hand Surgeon working at the Hampshire Hospitals in the UK. Mr Hobby is currently the Honorary Secretary of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand, and was chairman of the society’s sixth series of instructional courses in Hand Surgery. His research interests include imaging in the wrist, outcome measures in hand surgery and psychological aspects of hand surgery.
Pierluigi Tos MD, PhD is the chair of FESSH Hand Trauma Committee. He is the head of the Hand Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery Unit at the Orthopaedic University Hospital Gaetano Pini – CTO in Milan, Italy; specialized both in Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery. Dr Tos is former president of the Italian Society for Microsurgery (SIM) and the European delegate for this Society at the European Federation of Societies for Microsurgery (EFSM). He is currently involved in the board of the Italian Society for Surgery of the Hand (SICM) as international delegate for the IFSSH. His main field of research is nerve repair and regeneration from basic science to clinical application and reconstructive microsurgery.
Kevin Spear (UK) works as a Consultant Hand Therapist and private practitioner at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the south of England. With a special interest in Rehabilitation of Traumatic Hand Injuries Kevin has over 20 years’ experience treating patients following tendon injury.
