Presentations of the virtual congress will only be available for registered participants of the FESSH-ON(line)-WEEK and EFSHT Online! Week program between 1 September 2020 and 31 December 2020.

Presentations will be available on a password protected Virtual Event Platform. Access information will be sent to each participants by 28 August 2020.

Besides the free paper presentations live streamed educational sessions will also be available: Live Surgery Demonstrations, Debates, Mini courses, Educational Afternoon.

CME credit: In order to obtain CME credit points you need to be registered for the congress before 1st September and login for the online program during the event date. In case you login for recorded presentations only after the event, CME points cannot be
offered.

EBHS Exam 2020
EBHS Examination's oral part is planned to be held in Frankfurt, Germany on 14-15 November 2020. Final confirmation will be sent by 14 September 2020. We recommend that you may wish to hold off arranging any non-refundable or changeable travel until this date.

EBHS Exam 2021
If you wish to enrol to the EBHS Exam 2021, the deadline of application is 30 November 2020. Due to COVID situation the 2020 examination system is not yet closed therefore the application link for the 2021 EBHS Exam will be open from 15 September 2020.

Meet the FESSH member societies – History of Hand Surgery in Belgium
Belgium has a long history in surgery. Most famous pioneers are Andreas Vesalius in the 1500s, who described human anatomy in his masterpiece De humani corporis fabrica libri septem and Albin Lambotte in the turn of XIXth and XXth century who was the godfather
of osteosynthesis.

The Belgian Hand Group (BHG) was founded in 1972. It was among the founders of FESSH in 1990 and it is also long-time member of the IFSSH.

Approaching deadline: 31 October 2020 – FESSH Basic Research Grant 2021

The grant aims to encourage exploratory, translational or developmental research by providing support for the early and conceptual stages of new clinical approaches. Therefore, this grant is directed towards basic and translational science and novel ideas/techniques
in hand surgery, rather than studies on clinical series of patients.
